The empty nest craft was started by my wife as our children were graduating and moving out of the house. She has always loved to craft and did it as often as she could. Then she was diagnosed with Cancer. She could no longer work, had 9 surgeries, chemo, radiation and almost daily appointments. I quit my job to take care of her.
